1) Do you offer officiant services?
All of our packages include a wedding officiant. You are welcome to bring your own minister or officiant. However, we do not discount the packages as we will still provide you with a ceremony coordinator to ensure a smooth beach wedding ceremony. If you bring your own officiant or own minister, they are responsible for legally signing and filling your Florida marriage license back with the county.

2) Do Sarasota beaches, and Bradenton beaches have parking?
We are not responsible for any parking fees, but we do have suggestions for your guests to park as conveniently as possible for your ceremony. Some beaches have free rides that your guests can use to get to your ceremony.

3) What happens if it rains on my wedding day?
In Florida, it usually rains for a couple of minutes and it stops. Most beaches have covered areas to wait until it passes and some couples choose to continue undercover instead of waiting. We can also move the times to the same date if we don't have another wedding. We will do our best to work with you and reschedule at no extra charge your ceremony if we know days in advance that we will have really bad weather. We will have to find a date we are available. We don't offer any refunds for bad weather and keep in mind that permits are first come first serve so you might have to get a new permit for the new date.

4) How much is the deposit to book Plan My Beach Wedding for my ceremony?
A deposit is needed to reserve your date. All deposits are non-refundable NO EXCEPTIONS. This reserves your date, package, staff, location, etc. When we agree to do your wedding that date and time is reserved for you and we say no to other couples. Deposits are 50% of your package. We don't charge any fees to change your wedding date, if we are available, its yours.

5) Do you perform same-sex weddings?
I don't like having to include this item but we get this question a lot. Love is Love and we are all the same so we ABSOLUTELY perform same-sex weddings, vow renewals, and commitment ceremonies. LGBTQ friendly.

6) I have a wedding idea. Can I share it with you for my wedding? Can I bring decorations?
You can share all your beach wedding ideas with us and we will do our best to incorporate them into your beach wedding ceremony.
The floral decorations that are included with the wedding packages are made of a high-resin plastic foam that is very realistic and placed inside the tiki torches, Arch Décor, and Aisle Way. We do not use real flowers for the decorations as they do not weather the elements well (Sun, Heat, Salt Air).
Real touch flowers feel cool to the touch, UV protected petals can withstand the sunniest beach wedding. Our tropical humid air can make real flowers wilt in a hurry and look less than spectacular in photos.
You are also welcome to bring any decorations you would like to add.

7) Do I write my own vows? What kind of beach wedding ceremonies do you offer?
We have traditional, Religious, and even Seaside ceremonies we can share with you. You can also write your own vows to make it extra special.

8) Are there any hidden fees?
We don't have any hidden fees or set-up charges. The only fees not included are the marriage license fee that has to be paid to the county clerk when you fill out your application (info here) and if needed the beach permit fee which is small and varies depending on the beach you choose and is paid directly to Sarasota County Parks and Rec. (info here), Manatee County, Anna Maria Island or Holmes Beach.

9) Do you do beach weddings in Siesta Key Beach?
We do weddings in Siesta Key Beach, Lido Key Beach, Venice Beach, Coquina Beach, Bradenton Beach, Cortez Beach, Holmes Beach, Anna Maria Island, and more.

10) Do you have a Bilingual English/Spanish team member?
We have a bilingual team member. We speak Spanish.

12) May we customize our wedding ceremony and include family, friends and children in the ceremony?
You are more than welcome to customize your ceremony as you prefer at no additional cost. We've had couples had friends/family come forward to perform readings, prayers or even sing using our PA system with microphone . We do ask that you provide us with a copy of your custom ceremony two-weeks prior so we can give it to your officiant.

13) Can we get married in a private location?
, Yes, we can setup just about anywhere with permission and access within our market boundaries.

14) Is there an additional cost for Weekends/Holidays?
No, we keep our prices the same no matter what time or date you choose to get married.

15) Do you allow outside vendors and/or direct booking with your own vendors?
You are more than welcome to use your own vendors. We are however, not responsible for any service provided by outside vendors, booked or paid for directly.

16) What other types of wedding events do you officiate?
We also officiate many Vow Renewals, Elopement ceremonies and Commitment Ceremonies throughout the year. The same love and effort is put into these ceremonies.
